OIL: Pemex admits deepwater disappointments in Mexico

The state-owned oil company, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), slashed its forecast for oil reserves in the Coatzacoalcos field in the Gulf of Mexico by 60% on 5 March. Any reduction in oil reserves is serious for the Mexican government which relies on oil revenues to meet its spending commitments.
